Livestream

Livestream or recording — which is right for your event?

Live streaming captures the atmosphere in real time; a recording allows for editing and corrections. When each option makes sense — and when to choose both.

The short answer

A livestream is worthwhile when you want to include people who cannot attend in person — and when the moment itself matters. A recording is worthwhile when the content has a life beyond the event: as a recap, as training material or as a reason to attend the next edition.

The case for going live

  • Shared experience: questions in the chat, reactions and a genuine sense of being in the audience.
  • Commitment: a scheduled time encourages people to set time aside.
  • No waiting: the content is available as it happens.

The case for recording

  • Editing: pauses and unexpected delays can be removed.
  • Multiple formats: a single day of filming can produce a highlight film, presentation videos and short clips.
  • Subtitles and translations can be carefully prepared.

Usually, both is the right choice

We very often put the same camera setup to work twice: streaming live while recording in full quality. This adds only a little to the workload on the day, but delivers twice the result. The important thing is to decide beforehand — we then plan audio feeds, camera positions and storage differently.

What to clarify in advance

  • Who should be able to watch live — anyone online, or only people with an access link?
  • Will the recording be published later? If so, you will need consent from speakers and guests.
  • Is there anything that must not be shown live, such as figures or internal slides?

And the price?

Our livestream and video services start at 990 € excluding VAT. The cost of your event depends on its duration, the number of cameras and post-production. Tell us the date, location and objective — you will receive a rough cost estimate within one working day.
